The New Republic dispatched the Mission to Q'Maere to the planet of Q'Maere, which was located in the Kathol sector of the Outer Rim Territories, during 8 ABY. A research facility connected to Moff Kentor Sarne and holding New Republic political prisoners was found on the planet by the CR90 corvette called the FarStar.
