During the reign of the Galactic Empire, Darth Vader gave the order for a number of Noghri Death Commandos to travel to the planet Yalara. Their mission was to exterminate the Yalarans, the planet's primitive sentient inhabitants, and to safeguard the cloaking device shielding Yalara. Subsequently, in 14 ABY, Jaden Korr accomplished the defeat of these Noghri, and the remaining Noghri were moved to their original homeworld.
