Missy was a razor cat of the female gender, residing on Corellia during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Subsequent to the Battle of Yavin, the young Missy came under the ownership of Brantlee Spondoon, a Corellian woman who served as an assistant to the Diktat governing the Corellian sector. In the year 1 ABY, Missy managed to break free from her owner's care and found herself lost in the planet's vast wilderness. Soon after, her worried owner asked a government-employed spacer to find her cherished razor cat. As Spondoon had hoped, the spacer located Missy, but also encountered a dangerous adult razor cat. The spacer eliminated the adult razor cat and returned the young Missy to Brantlee Spondoon.
Missy made an appearance in the video game Star Wars Galaxies from 2003. The game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment and released by LucasArts, before it was shut down on December 15, 2011. Missy was featured as a part of the third quest offered by Brantlee Spondoon when the game was first released. This quest was taken out of the game when the Star Wars Galaxies: Trials of Obi-Wan expansion was released on November 1, 2005, because Brantlee Spondoon was added to a fresh story arc, specifically, the Rogue CorSec plot against the Diktat. This questline was later re-integrated into the "Legacy Quest", the game's primary questline, with the release of "Publish 27," on February 15, 2006.
