A female Human named Brantlee Spondoon resided on the planet of Corellia during the time of the Galactic Civil War. She functioned as an assistant to Daclif Gallamby, who held the position of Corellian Diktat.
Brantlee Spondoon served as the aide to Diktat Daclif Gallamby, the leader of the Corellian sector, within the Capitol building in Coronet City after the Battle of Yavin. Her duties as the Diktat's assistant involved managing his schedule and granting audience to visitors. She frequently exploited her influential role for personal gain, soliciting gifts and favors from those seeking the Diktat's attention. This led to her acquisition of a Devaronian fur polisher from the Devaronian trader Midgoss D'labaninaph and a supply of Neonan red cheese from the businessman Zoda Burb. At some point, Brantlee Spondoon obtained a young female razor cat which she named Missy. However, in 1 ABY, the pet managed to escape from her owner and disappeared into the surrounding environment. Spondoon sent out a spacer who eventually returned the beloved razor cat to her relieved owner.
In 1 ABY, Brantlee Spondoon was alerted by an informant about a scheme to undermine the Diktat and his government. Consequently, she hired a spacer who had previously been employed by the Corellian government alongside Gallura Handerin. She instructed the spacer to rendezvous with the informant at a warehouse located in Coronet. However, upon the spacer's arrival at the warehouse, the informant was murdered by a group of criminals who were former members of the Corellian Security Force, known as the Rogue CorSec. Although the spacer attempted to retrieve the informant's concealed datadisk, they were unsuccessful. The spacer then informed Spondoon of the situation, who expressed her disappointment and concern over the loss of the information. Unbeknownst to Brantlee Spondoon, the spacer was actually working for CorSec Lieutenant Mack Jasper. Jasper and the spacer then decided to investigate the Rogue CorSec, and ultimately succeeded in thwarting the plot against the Diktat.
Brantlee Spondoon was featured as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before its shutdown on December 15, 2011.
In the initial version of the game, Brantlee Spondoon was included. Similar to many quest-giving NPCs in the early iterations of the game, she offered "static quests" to players. These quests did not award any experience points and simply required players to travel to a random location to either eliminate or protect one or more NPCs. Brantlee Spondoon's static quests were removed from the game with the introduction of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005. Following this update, Brantlee Spondoon became a central figure in a new narrative arc, specifically the Rogue CorSec conspiracy against the Diktat. This questline was later slightly revised with the "Publish 27" update, on February 15, 2006, where the Rogue CorSec story arc was integrated into the "Legacy Quest," the game's main questline.
