Gallura Handerin was a female Human individual. During the time of the Galactic Civil War, she resided on the planet of Corellia. She held a position of considerable authority within the Corellian governing body.
Following the Battle of Yavin, Gallura Handerin served as a highly influential governmental assistant within the Capitol building situated in Coronet City. Pol Handerin, a farmer residing on the outskirts of Coronet, was her cousin.
In the year 1 ABY, Gallura Handerin enlisted the services of a spacer, someone who had previously collaborated with Pol Handerin, to carry out a series of assignments. Her first request was for the spacer to inspect all government drop boxes located throughout Coronet City. Subsequently, she tasked the spacer with retrieving a set of stormtrooper armor that had been pilfered from an Imperial officer within the Capitol. She expressed great satisfaction when the spacer successfully recovered the armor before the officer even realized it was missing. Ultimately, Handerin assigned the spacer the mission of locating a missing government courier. However, the courier had been murdered by the criminal Preens B'oola, who sought to steal the government documents the courier was transporting. B'oola demanded an exorbitant sum of 1,000,000 credits as ransom, but the spacer eliminated him and retrieved the documents. In recognition of these services, Gallura Handerin then recommended the spacer to Brantlee Spondoon, who served as the aide to the Diktat.
Gallura Handerin existed as a non-player character within the 2003 video game known as Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. The game's operations ceased on December 15, 2011.
The character of Gallura Handerin was incorporated into the game through the "Publish 25," update, also referred to as the "New Game Enhancements," which was released on November 15, 2005. She played a role in the questline that revolved around the Rogue CorSec conspiracy against the Diktat. This narrative arc underwent minor revisions with the introduction of "Publish 27," on February 15, 2006, as the questline was woven into the "Legacy Quest," the game's primary questline.
