Pol Handerin, a male Human farmer, resided on the planet of Corellia during the Galactic Civil War era.
During the Galactic Civil War, Pol Handerin made his living on a farm situated outside of Coronet City. Following the Battle of Yavin, the farmer faced significant difficulties due to rampaging wildlife and criminal elements that infested his property. Consequently, Handerin sought assistance from the Corellian Security Force. In 1 ABY, Lieutenant Mack Jasper of CorSec dispatched a new recruit to aid the farmer in his plight. Pol Handerin initially tasked the CorSec operative with the assignment of hunting down and exterminating a band of aggressive carrion spats responsible for extensive damage. The CorSec agent was successful, even slaying the pack's leader, Gravefeather. Subsequently, Handerin requested the CorSec agent to address the issue of a gang of outlaws known as the Nedgarr Bandits, who were destroying crops and pilfering grain. This undertaking also met with success. The CorSec agent was able to retrieve the stolen grain and eliminate several bandits, including their ringleader Trae Nedgarr, during an attack on the Nedgarr Bandits Hideout. Handerin expressed deep gratitude for the assistance he received, which resolved all of his problems. When the CorSec agent voiced their ambition to serve the government, Pol Handerin eagerly offered to introduce the CorSec agent to his relative, Gallura Handerin, a government assistant working at the Coronet Capitol.
In the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, Pol Handerin appeared as a non-player character. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony Online Entertainment, and LucasArts was the publisher, before the game was shut down on December 15, 2011.
The character of Pol Handerin was integrated into the game with the introduction of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005. He was a component of a questline that centered on the Rogue CorSec conspiracy against the Diktat. Later, this story arc underwent a slight revision with the release of "Publish 27", on February 15, 2006, as the questline was incorporated into the "Legacy Quest," the game's primary questline.
