The Nedgarr Bandits were a criminal organization that operated on the planet of Corellia during the Galactic Civil War period. They took their name from their ringleader, Trae Nedgarr, and maintained a hideout located just outside the city limits of Coronet City. Following the Battle of Yavin, the Nedgarr Bandits engaged in acts of vandalism and theft targeting local farms, including the farm owned by Pol Handerin. In the year 1 ABY, Lieutenant Mack Jasper of the Corellian Security Force sent a new recruit to assist Pol Handerin in addressing the Nedgarr Bandits' activities. The CorSec operative successfully retrieved stolen grain and eliminated Trae Nedgarr during the assault conducted on the Nedgarr Bandits' Hideout.
The Nedgarr Bandits made an appearance in the Star Wars Galaxies video game, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game. This game was created by Sony Online Entertainment, and LucasArts served as the publisher, before the game's servers were shut down on December 15, 2011.
The Nedgarr Bandits were incorporated into the game through the "Publish 25" update, also known as the "New Game Enhancements," which was released on November 15, 2005. They formed a component of a questline that revolved around the Rogue CorSec plot directed against the Diktat. This particular story arc underwent a slight revision with the release of "Publish 27," on February 15, 2006, as the questline was woven into the "Legacy Quest," which served as the game's primary questline.
