Pol Handerin was the proprietor of a farm situated just outside the boundaries of Coronet City, which itself was located on the planet of Corellia, during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Following the pivotal Battle of Yavin, Handerin encountered significant difficulties stemming from both dangerous wildlife and criminal elements that became rampant around his agricultural property. In the year 1 ABY, Lieutenant Mack Jasper of CorSec dispatched a new recruit to provide aid to the beleaguered farmer. This CorSec operative initially eradicated a band of ferocious carrion spats, including their alpha, Gravefeather, which had inflicted substantial damage upon the farm. Subsequently, the CorSec agent successfully confronted and neutralized a band of outlaws known as the Nedgarr Bandits, who were responsible for damaging crops and pilfering harvested grain from the farm. The CorSec agent managed to recover the stolen grain and eliminated several members of the bandit group, including their leader, Trae Nedgarr. Pol Handerin expressed his gratitude for the assistance he received, which effectively resolved all the issues plaguing his farm.
The farm belonging to Pol Handerin was featured as a specific location within the Star Wars Galaxies video game; this massively multiplayer online role-playing game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before the game's servers were shut down on December 15, 2011.
The introduction of Pol Handerin's farm into the game's environment occurred with the release of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005. It formed a component of a quest series that revolved around the Rogue CorSec plot against the Diktat. Later on, this narrative arc underwent minor revisions with the launch of "Publish 27," on February 15, 2006, as the questline was incorporated into the "Legacy Quest," which served as the game's primary questline.
