The Mneon system, alternatively called the Geran system, was a star system situated within the Calaron sector of the Outer Rim Territories in the galaxy. It was home to the planet Geran, the original homeworld of the sentient Geranite species and the flying reptiles referred to as shell-bats.
"Skin Deep: The Fat Dancer's Tale," a concise narrative crafted by A. C. Crispin, initially introduced the Mneon system. This story was featured in _Tales from Jabba's Palace'', a Star Wars Legends collection of stories that was edited by Kevin J. Anderson and made available to the public on January 2, 1996. Later, The Essential Atlas, a reference work authored by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace and published on August 18, 2009, pinpointed the system's location as grid square T-9.
