Moore was a Human of the male persuasion. He held the rank of sub-officer within the ranks of the Imperial Army. His service concluded with a discharge during the period known as the Galactic Civil War.
Moore enlisted in the Imperial Army, achieving the rank of sergeant during his tenure. By the time the Battle of Yavin occurred, his assignment placed him on the planet of Lok, specifically within the Imperial Mine. While stationed on this desolate, lawless world, he became entangled with both the Lok Revenants and the notorious pirate, Nym. He even procured a loan of several thousand credits from the pirate leader. The Empire discovered his dealings with Nym, resulting in a sentence of execution. However, Moore had allies within the influential Tagge family, who intervened on his behalf. Consequently, his sentence was reduced to expulsion from the Imperial Army, sparing his life.
Following his departure from the Imperial Army, Moore frequented the cantina situated in Nym's Stronghold. Nym's pirate organization occasionally compensated him for providing intelligence pertaining to the Empire's local activities. In 1 ABY, a spacer dispatched by Jinkins of the Lok Revenants, paid Moore 150 credits in exchange for his knowledge regarding the Imperial mine and the droidekas safeguarding the installation. Shortly thereafter, the spacer returned, compensating him for information concerning the Imperial Research Facility.
Sergeant Moore functions as a Non-Player Character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. The game servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. Sergeant Moore was integrated into the game as part of the "Nym's Theme Park" content update, which was released with "Publish 3" on October 8, 2003. Moore's in-game dialogue experienced a slight augmentation when the questline underwent a revision with the launch of "Game Update 16," on March 23, 2010.
