Moru was a Jedi Master of the humanoid species. When Toul received orders for a new mission, Moru retrieved him from his ongoing training. After Toul's departure from the training area, Toul's partner voiced concerns that Toul possessed excessive anger, but Moru countered, asserting that Toul's true struggle was with fear.
The character Moru was featured in "Journey to the Dark Head," which is the fifth episode of Star Wars: Visions' second volume. It debuted on the Disney+ streaming service on May 4, 2023. The Korean voice acting was performed by Lee So Young, while the English voice acting was done by Judy Alice Lee.
