Groznik along with Elscol Loro face a Mrlssi Laser Phantom that takes the form of Throm Loro.
Mrlssti Laser Phantoms represented a unique type of hologram that were the brainchild of Professor Rorax Falken from the Mrlsst Trade and Science Academy.
Professor Falken conceived the Phantom system while leading an overhaul of the Academy's security measures. His initial Phantom was a depiction of Taj Junak, a Jedi who met his end on the Academy grounds and became the subject of the "Ghost Jedi" legend. He later altered the Phantom to resemble Throm Loro to manipulate Groznik, the Wookiee Rebel, into working for him.
Later, Ysanne Isard, the Director of Imperial Intelligence, employed this technology to conduct urban combat training exercises utilizing semi-solid Holograms.
The Phantoms were displayed by specialized two-way holocams positioned throughout the Academy, functioning similarly to standard Holograms. However, Phantoms possessed a degree of energy, enabling them to interact with the environment in diverse ways. A Phantom had the capability to mimic the cutting action of a lightsaber, discharge low-power energy blasts, and replicate color-coded laser keys.
