Mullud Bombo, a male Otolla Gungan, made his home in the small oceanside city of Kaadara during the Galactic Civil War era. In the aftermath of the Battle of Yavin, Bombo found himself in the service of Naboo's affluent social circles, taking on various delivery tasks and miscellaneous jobs. Despite this, Bombo harbored a general dislike for the Naboo people, and his work ethic was often perceived as lacking.
In the time after the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, Mullud Bombo, a male Otolla Gungan, established himself in the small oceanside city of Kaadara on Naboo, a flourishing world in the Mid Rim. During his stay, Bombo fostered connections with Naboo's social elite, performing odd jobs for individuals such as Sentellus Gavrel, a wealthy patron. While Bombo's Gungan bosses advocated for appeasing figures like Gavrel, Bombo himself felt a certain disdain for the Naboo, viewing them as elitist. Consequently, he developed a reputation for laziness, often delegating his tasks to others.
A prime example of this occurred when Gavrel requested Bombo to deliver a backpack filled with survey equipment. Instead of handling the delivery personally, Bombo sought the assistance of a spacer who was passing through Kaadara. In exchange for a credit reward, Bombo entrusted the spacer with the task of transporting the backpack to Gavrel outside the city. However, the journey was not without its challenges. In the wilderness, the spacer faced attacks from a local veermok and an errant Jawa engineer, both of whom were defeated. Upon receiving the survey equipment, the wealthy patron, who also worked as a farmer, criticized Bombo for his poor work ethic. Nevertheless, Bombo was pleased with the successful delivery and offered the spacer medicine to aid their recovery after the wilderness ordeal. This would not be the last assignment for the intrepid spacer, though. Bombo also employed the individual to retrieve a datadisc from Lady Siyanna Kaelish, a female entertainer, which contained a list of affluent Naboo socialites to be invited to a party. Although two Gungan outcasts violently interfered with the transaction, both were dealt with, and Bombo compensated the spacer for resolving the situation. Bombo further employed the spacer to escort another woman, an artisan by the name of Lady Winella Munkus, safely back to Kaadara. Once again, the spacer faced a violent altercation while Bombo remained safely in Kaadara. This time, an aggressive moisture farmer accompanied by a feline narglatch attempted to prevent Lady Munkus from accompanying the spacer on the journey back to city. However, the spacer killed both of them for endangering Munkus' life.

Mullud Bombo was a member of the Otolla, a specific lineage within the Gungan species. In common with many Otolla Gungans, he possessed orange eyes and mottled orange skin. He also spoke a heavily accented version of Gunganese, a language that evolved from the language of Naboo's settlers, Basic.
Despite his professional interactions with Naboo's elite, Bombo held a general dislike for the Naboo people, believing them to be arrogant. The fact that his superiors expected him to appease individuals like Sentellus Gavrel made Bombo feel "sick." Nevertheless, he fulfilled tasks for people like Gavrel, though his approach earned him a reputation for laziness.
Instead of personally handling deliveries, Bombo would hire others to complete his assignments. This tendency towards laziness did not endear him to Gavrel. Gavrel also found Bombo difficult to understand, due to his Gunganese. Despite his disdain for the wealthier socialites of Naboo, Bombo appreciated outsiders who followed his instructions. The spacer who assisted in delivering the backpack of survey equipment, for instance, received compliments from Bombo, and even an offer of medicine for braving Naboo's wilderness. Conversely, Bombo was quick to criticize anyone who refused to aid him in his assignments. He considered such individuals no different from the "smarty others" he often worked for.

During his time in Kaadara, Bombo typically wore a simple brown tunic and pants. The clothing he wore closely resembled the attire worn by other Gungans across Naboo, including Jar Jar Binks, who sported similar clothing during the Invasion of Naboo in 32 BBY. Mullud Bombo also kept a supply of other items, such as the medicine he offered to the spacer after the successful delivery of the survey equipment to Gavrel.
Mullud Bombo appeared as a non-player character in Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, the 2003 video game which was a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. Players who completed a series of quests for Bombo were tasked with delivering a backpack to Sentellus Gavrel, obtaining a datadisc from Lady Siyanna Kaelish, and escorting Lady Winella Munkus back to Kaadara. It is worth noting, however, that the quest line for Mullud Bombo had several bugs. While the initial quest, involving the delivery of a backpack to Gavrel, functioned as intended, the subsequent two quests lacked any text dialogue strings. This makes it impossible to determine the precise reasons behind Bombo's need for a datadisc from Lady Kaelish, and his desire for Lady Munkus to be escorted to Kaadara. Nevertheless, these two quests could still be completed. After completing the first quest, Bombo offered the player some medicine, but no such item was placed in the player's inventory. Furthermore, while the first two quests rewarded the player with 50 credits, the final quest did not offer any reward due to a database error. As part of a Publish 3 update on October 8, 2003, the developers addressed numerous quest bugs for static quests. At some point during or after this update, the Mullud Bombo NPC was deactivated, and could no longer provide quests to players. Although the player could choose not to do Bombo's quests, this article assumes 100% game completion.
