As the Narkis Anchorite group often frequented this location, the highlands lent their name to the monastic cult. Within the Narkis Highlands was the Archive, a concealed headquarters utilized by Jedi Masters Cere Junda and [Eno Cordova](/article/eno_cordova]. Additionally, the Pilgrim's Sanctuary, a refuge for the Hidden Path, could also be found there.
The video game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, released in 2023, marked the initial appearance of the Narkis Highlands. Players were able to explore this region in the game.
