A nav droid, also referred to as a navidroid, functioned as the navigator aboard a starship, classifying it as a type of droid. During 3 ABY, the droid known as Gak-Sixtoo served as the nav droid on the barge belonging to the Hutt Bokku, as well as on the Hutt Flagship. The purpose of navdroids was to perform computations necessary for ships to traverse hyperspace. These navidroids were also responsible for spotting and avoiding any residual particles overlooked in the calculated routes, making corrections to the trajectory as needed.
