Naxy Screeger, an individual from Sakiyan, was known for his uncontrollable gambling habit, which constantly left him in debt. He had a tendency to pause mid-sentence, often using the phrase "whaddya call it" while contemplating his next words.
Although he frequented various disreputable establishments, such as Brogar's Cantina on Lok, where he encountered Cade Skywalker, who was attempting to collect the bounty Rav had placed on Screeger, he was a regular at Rik's Cantina on Coruscant. The bounty hunters apprehended Screeger with ease. Screeger begged for his release constantly until he was handed over to Rav on Socorro.
Screeger later assisted Cade, Jariah Syn, Chak and Kee in gaining entry to the Golden Gorg Cantina. After the group recovered the Grinning Liar, Screeger desperately requested that Cade allow him to board the Mynock to avoid being killed by Rav. To prevent any problems, Skywalker confined him to the hold, which contained decaying gorgs, until they could find a suitable place to leave him.
Following the demise of Darth Krayt, Screeger became an information broker working for Lun Rask, a Vigo of the Black Sun. However, he was secretly working as an operative for Cade, enabling the Mynock to intercept Black Sun ships that were hijacking Imperial freighters and seize the stolen goods for themselves.
He then secured a position as a gatekeeper at the headquarters of Vedo Anjiliac Atirue, the leader of the Anjiliac kajidic. When Skywalker, who had been summoned by Vedo and Jool, arrived, Screeger reminded him of his debt for providing information about the location of Sith scientist Vul Isen, whom Skywalker was pursuing, on Daluuj. However, only one of Isen's old labs was there, and Skywalker refused to pay him as Isen himself wasn't present before moving in to see Vedo, reminding him that they were invited. Unfazed, Screeger allowed Skywalker to pass, but then corrected that only he was invited, triggering a door to fall from the ceiling, separating Cade from his companions and disappearing into the ground. Vedo then unleashed several security droids to test Skywalker's skills, but he easily defeated them with his lightsaber.
