Kee functioned as a female Devaronian smuggler, holding the roles of copilot and mechanic aboard the Grinning Liar, a YX-1980 space transport that belonged to the Wookiee named Chak. She derived pleasure from disassembling mechanical devices solely to reconstruct them, with a specialization in micro/biocircuitry.

During Cade Skywalker's visit to Rik's Cantina on Coruscant in 137 ABY, Kee, a female Devaronian, was present. She brandished a blaster pistol at him, hoping he could provide information on the whereabouts of her former crew members, Jariah Syn and Deliah Blue, who had departed with the Grinning Liar after renting it following their departure from Cade's employment. Unfortunately, Cade was unable to assist her or Chak, although he did flirt with her.
After Cade fell under the influence of the Sith, Kee, along with Chak, became part of the Mynock's crew to rescue Cade, viewing it as a necessary step to recover the Grinning Liar, which had somehow ended up in the possession of Rav.
Kee, together with Chak, Deliah Blue, and Jariah Syn, was subsequently hired by Morrigan Corde to aid in the rescue of Cade, who was revealed to be her son. She assisted Syn in the task of attaching miniature cameras to Yuuzhan Vong bugs that Corde had acquired from the Empire. After a period of three weeks, when they finally managed to locate Cade and his attempt to escape the Temple of the Sith, Kee remarked on his actions, noting that he was "chucking Darth Hottie out the airlock."
Kee accompanied Chak, Corde, Blue, and Syn aboard the Mynock as they flew over the Temple. She made a sarcastic remark about one of the most outrageous things Syn had ever done. The mission concluded with Cade's successful escape from the Sith.
Later, she joined Chak, Cade, and Syn in an effort to reclaim the Grinning Liar from Rav. After the ship was recovered, she extended her best wishes to Cade and requested that he convey her regards to Blue. Upon learning that the two were not on speaking terms, the Devaronian labeled him a nerfherder and encouraged him to initiate a conversation with her.

Jan Duursema, the primary artist responsible for the Legacy comics in which Kee made her debut, has clarified that Kee is in no way related to Vilmarh Grahrk.
