Nedriss Narr was a Jedi Padawan of the human species. Following the tragic events of the Great Jedi Purge, Narr covertly dedicated themselves to training prospective Jedi Knights with the guidance of their master, Vanzell Mar-Klar. Together with fellow Padawans, they journeyed with a group of younglings to a concealed Jedi Temple to evaluate the younglings' abilities. Following sessions of lightsaber instruction and Force training, the group engaged in combat against spectral figures of Darth Vader and other adherents of the dark side of the Force. The apparition that Narr confronted embodied one of the apprentice's deepest anxieties.
Nedriss Narr held a prominent role in Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, an attraction formerly featured at Disney Parks at various Disney theme parks. This attraction is no longer in operation. The characters of Narr, their master, and their students were portrayed by diverse Disney Parks Cast Members of varying ages and genders, with young park visitors taking on the roles of the younglings. The attire worn by the Cast Members who played Narr served as inspiration for the costumes worn by Padawan contestants on the Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge game show.
