Neeya, a Nautolan male physician specializing in the study of alien life, was assigned to Belsavis during the Cold War. There, he supervised the Domination Experiments as part of the Project Noble Focus. Around 3641 BBY, during the Belsavis invasion, Neeya was swayed by the influence of the Rakata who constructed the Belsavis prison; he was later taken prisoner by the Sith Empire. Driven by a newfound obsession to unearth more of the Builders' technology, Neeya was manipulated by Commander Vorel to head an Imperial assault squad into the Tomb. Their objective was to obtain the blueprints of the Belsavis prison, with the intention of reconstructing it. Neeya furnished an Imperial recruit with a Burba Xenowave Scanner, an instrument employed to collect the essential data. Following the mission's success, the Empire put Neeya to death, considering his mental instability a threat to security.
