Neina was a female officer of the Human species. She lived her life during the time of the Galactic Civil War.
Following the Battle of Yavin, Neina took up residence on Tansarii Point Station, which was located in the Bright Jewel system. It was there that she became a student under Antom Moria, who instructed her in the ways of becoming an officer.
After the Battle of Yavin had concluded, tensions arose between the Car'das who controlled Tansarii Point Station and the Rak'qua inhabiting the nearby Station Gamma. To resolve this conflict, Antom Moria sent Neina to Station Gamma to speak with a Rak'qua Fervent, a leader among the Rak'qua. However, the Rak'qua refused to engage in discussion with Neina, choosing instead to take her captive. After two days had elapsed without any news from Neina, Moria grew worried and requested a spacer to look into her disappearance. This spacer, who was also an officer in training, had recently arrived at Tansarii Point Station alongside Han Solo. The spacer agreed to assist Antom and promptly set off for Station Gamma to negotiate the release of Antom's missing student. Eventually, the Rak'qua Fervent agreed to release Neina, but only if the spacer could successfully hunt down and defeat one of his shamans in a duel to the death. Ultimately, the spacer triumphed in this test of honor, thus securing Neina's freedom. The young woman was freed and safely returned to Antom Moria.
Neina appeared as a non-player character within the 2003 video game titled Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. Neina's character was incorporated into the game as part of the "New Player Tutorial," which was introduced with the release of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
