Nia's hair was a striking jet-black, accented with streaks of silver.
During 31 BBY, Nia and San participated in a somewhat unbalanced trading arrangement with the Hiironi irstat. They provided advanced technological items to the Tarasin people, receiving in return local crafts of considerably lower worth. They employed workers from Gadrin to assist in the transportation of these goods. The majority of the items Nia and San provided were unneeded by the Tarasin; however, the Tarasin observed that assisting the "primitives" brought Nia and San satisfaction, and therefore permitted the exchange to persist.
In 19 BBY, Nia and San met their end when [Len Markus](/article/len_markus], utilizing the Darkstaff, transformed them into zombies.
