Nightside

Located in the Therezar system, the expansive ice mining facility known as Nightside was under the control of Zargo Anaximander during the time of the New Republic Era.

Attributes

Nightside maintained a geostationary position in orbit around Therezar, specifically within and intersecting its planetary rings.

The primary structure of the station consisted of two matching cube-shaped sections, joined by a substantial framework where the raw materials extracted from the rings were processed and refined. A network of cables resembling a spiderweb linked the central structure to various outposts, facilitating transport via cable cars.

Functioning autonomously as a city-state, the station housed an extensive urban-like area, providing residential spaces, commercial outlets, and dining establishments for its workforce.

Historical Information

During 21 ABY, the station became the target of a raid executed by the Droid Crush Pirates of Bestoon. Their objective was to abduct the renegade Strand-Cast individual Dathan and his relatives, acting under the orders of Ochi from Bestoon. Despite Ochi's instructions, the droids largely disregarded them, choosing to plunder the station. Ultimately, Zargo Anaximander's security droids, strategically positioned throughout the station, successfully neutralized and eliminated the entire Droid Crush force.
