The primary base of operations for Kara Xoo's Tempest, belonging to the Nihil, was the Nihil encampment situated on Dalna during 230 BBY. It was to this camp that the Nihil brought Avon Starros, along with other children, after abducting them. While held there, Avon encountered Zadina Mkampa, and together they engineered the Sunvale crystal which was used to energize a groundquake machine.
