One of these frigate class vessels was seized by the Chiss heavy cruiser known as the Springhawk. Subsequently, Uingali foar Marocsaa, the leader of the Paccosh subclan, acquired a similar blockade frigate from Nikardun forces as they retreated from the Rapacc system. His captured blockade frigate was then adorned with a chimaera design, and renamed the Aelos.
