Nilash native

The Nilash III inhabitants, known for their ingenuity, resilience, and capacity to create telepathic shared consciousness, were a people who dwelled in the trees. Sith Lord Daiman subjugated this species, compelling them to labor in a Daimanite munitions production facility. However, following the Destruction of Chelloa in 1032 BBY, the Jedi Knight Kerra Holt emancipated them.

Society and culture

The inhabitants of Nilash III demonstrated both inventiveness and a strong spirit. Jedi Master Vannar Treece characterized these attributes as "inspiring," and he considered their ability to form telepathic group minds to be "remarkable." Their proficiency in concealing themselves within the jungle environment aided them in evading their former Sith oppressors.

History

Prior to, or during the New Sith Wars, the Ithor Outreach conducted anthropological investigations into these species, subsequently documenting their observations in narrative form.

Lord Daiman, under whose rule the Nilash III species was enslaved.

Later, during the conflict involving Sith Lords Daiman and Odion, the species' home world was incorporated into Daiman's territory. A munitions factory was established there, where the enslaved natives were compelled to perform forced labor.

Sometime before the Jedi-led Operation Influx in 1032 BBY, Jedi Master Vannar Treece prepared a report for Republic Supreme Chancellor Genarra concerning the planets within the Grumani sector. This report included a concise description of Nilash III and its inhabitants, drawing from the accounts of the Ithor Outreach.

Following the unsuccessful Jedi mission and the resulting devastation of Chelloa, the Daimanite planet abundant in baradium, Jedi Knight Kerra Holt journeyed to Nilash and liberated the native workers from their enslavement, after which they vanished into the surrounding jungle.
