Noctur'lan was a colossal nightspider that dwelled on Naboo during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Its habitat was in the Eastern Great Grass Plains, specifically in proximity to the settlement of Kaadara. An operative of the Royal Naboo Security Forces, named Jonthol Mazoon, once received the assignment to neutralize Noctur'lan; however, he was unsuccessful in his attempt and sustained injuries. Sometime following death of Jonthol Mazoon, Noctur'lan met its end at the hands of a spacer.
Noctur'lan made an appearance in the 2003 Star Wars Galaxies video game, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game. This game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. Noctur'lan's inclusion in the game occurred as a component of the "Legacy Quest" with the arrival of "Publish 25", also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
