The Northern Jedi Ruins featured as a setting within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and brought to the public by LucasArts, before its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. The introduction of the Northern Jedi Ruins into the game occurred with the launch of the expansion pack known as Trials of Obi-Wan on November 1, 2005.
