The Northern Mustafarians represented one of the two distinct subspecies of Mustafarians, having undergone separate evolutionary paths within subterranean caverns. These Mustafarians collaborated to extract precious minerals from the flowing lava and maintained a commercial pact with the Techno Union. Characterized by their slender and elongated bodies, reaching heights of 2.3 meters, they possessed extended snouts reminiscent of the Kubaz species. Although their hides provided resilience against blaster weaponry, they lacked the extreme temperature tolerance of their Southern relatives, necessitating the use of protective armor when operating near the lava within their volcanic environment. In comparison to their Southern counterparts, Northern Mustafarians exhibited less robustness and physical strength. They frequently served as sentinels and skilled riders of lava fleas, navigating the solidified crust atop the rivers of lava.
