The O.S.S. D-502 Junk Guild, alternatively referred to as the "Junk X'press" Guild, was a collective of junk dealers that operated within the Dantooine system during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
This group, known as the O.S.S. D-502 Junk Guild, conducted their operations in the Dantooine system. While their primary base was located in Area D-502, they also maintained a presence in the Wall of Dantooine asteroid field and in the vicinity of the wrecked Legacy YT Indigo Blue station. Facing inadequate protection from the Empire, the O.S.S. D-502 junk dealers formed an alliance with a group of scientists, specifically the Aii`tkian Anthropologists, for mutual defense against the predatory Zel'iphian Slave Traders Guild.
In the vastness of space, pilots affiliated with the "Junk X'press" Guild utilized M3-A Scyk fighters in addition to M12-L Kimogila heavy fighters.
At approximately the same time as the Battle of Yavin, the O.S.S. Junk Guild, working alongside the Aiitkian Anthropologists, made a discovery of a novel [copper](/article/copper-legends) strain within the Dantooine system's Area D-502. Subsequently, the Aii
tkian scientists initiated an investigation to determine its potential suitability for use in the manufacturing of starship components.
The O.S.S. D-502 Junk Guild made its debut appearance in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. The game was active until its shutdown on December 15, 2011. The inclusion of the O.S.S. D-502 Junk Guild in the game occurred with the release of the expansion pack known as Jump to Lightspeed, which was launched on October 27, 2004.
