Obliteration of the Thirty-Second Infantry

By approximately the time of 2 ABY, the Thirty-Second Infantry of the Rebel Alliance suffered total destruction. This occurrence led to the deaths of more than 400 members of that infantry contingent. One of only five individuals to survive the Thirty-Second was the grenadier, Maximian Ajax, who subsequently enlisted in the Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry and kept wearing his previous unit's insignia until he died during a mission in 3 ABY.

Behind the scenes

The complete annihilation of the Thirty-Second Infantry is referenced within the pages of the 2015 novel, Battlefront: Twilight Company, which was authored by Alexander Freed.
