A collection of no fewer than five single-bladed lightsabers were in the possession of, and actively used by, the Parwan Jedi Master Obratuk Glii throughout the High Republic Era. Because of his unique Parwan biology, Glii had a multitude of grasping tentacles enabling him to fight with multiple lightsabers concurrently. Glii personally crafted each of these weapons as a tribute to his previous Padawans that had died throughout his millennium-long lifespan.
The initial appearance of Obratuk Glii's lightsabers was in the comic series Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures, specifically in its seventh issue. This issue was penned by Daniel José Older, visually rendered by Harvey Tolibao, and released to the public by IDW Publishing on August 18, 2021.
