OC-JK14, also called Seejay, was an astromech droid that provided assistance to the Resistance during their conflict with the First Order. Stationed at the Resistance base situated on the lunar surface of Ajan Kloss, it frequently navigated the dense foliage, striving to contribute wherever possible. The droid diligently handled minor upkeep tasks, marking off items on checklists that were rarely reviewed by others. In 35 ABY, OC-JK14 joined the assembled personnel at the base, paying respects to the deceased General Leia Organa following her passing. An older model of astromech droid, in the treadwell style that was once widespread throughout the Outer Rim Territories, OC-JK14 often went unnoticed by Resistance members, who preferred more conventional astromech designs. This astromech possessed a yellow and blue plasteel cylindrical body, complemented by a gray broad-spectrum photoreceptor. Its treadwell base incorporated a concealed compartment containing an assortment of manipulators with various tool attachments.
OC-JK14 made an appearance in the 2019 sequel trilogy movie, Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, with its identification first established in the related reference book Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, authored by Pablo Hidalgo. Preliminary artwork for the droid, labeled "Droid 02," was created for the film by character concept artist Luke Fisher.
