Omega's energy crossbow, a modified version of the energy crossbow, became the favored weapon of the clone Omega circa 18 BBY. This was after her clone ally Echo gifted it to her, having obtained it through connections from his work within the Clone Underground. This crossbow fired bolts of green energy and featured a foldable design for convenient travel. It was more compact than Omega's previous weapon, the Zygerrian energy bow. A scope and a foregrip were also integrated into the weapon's design. Soon after receiving it, Omega used it during an escape attempt from Imperial forces on the planet Teth alongside her squad, Clone Force 99.
The debut of Omega's energy crossbow occurred in the Star Wars: The Bad Batch episodes "Infiltration" and "Extraction," specifically episodes six and seven of the animated television series' third season, which initially aired on March 13, 2024. Its identification was later confirmed in the Databank on StarWars.com. Subsequently, the energy crossbow, along with the character Omega (Fugitive), was incorporated into the EA Capital Games video game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, which was originally launched in 2015, on January 14, 2025.
