In 19 BBY, as part of the Great Jedi Purge, Imperial forces launched an invasion of the planet Vaklin. Vaklin was indeed a world with a strong pro-Jedi sentiment. After the Empire established control, Jedi Knight Cho'na Bene, along with a Jedi Master and his apprentice, whose species remains unidentified, initiated an insurgency against the Imperial presence. The population's active resistance prompted the deployment of Darth Vader to sway the people against the Jedi and quell the uprising.
Following Darth Vader's directives, Oniye Namada interrogated Vaklin's residents about the significance of a particular statue. She then instructed a Clone gunnery team to demolish the statue of the Jedi Khen Reo. Subsequently, she announced that "This empty Plaza will serve as the new site of an Imperial Education Center on Valkin. She strongly encouraged the people of Vaklin to enroll in the Imperial Education Center. She disguised herself as a clone trooper and then publicly executed the Jedi in front of the Citizens so the Jedi would be humiliated.
