Unidentified OOM command battle droid 1 (Ryloth)
This OOM command battle droid functioned as a commander for the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Battle of Ryloth. On the planet of Ryloth, he oversaw the Armored Assault Tanks against the Galactic Republic's All Terrain Tactical Enforcers, which were under the command of Jedi General Mace Windu. The droid attempted to ensnare the advancing walkers on a road over a canyon by instructing his tanks to target and disable the foremost and rearmost AT-TEs. Although the droid's AATs succeeded in immobilizing the lead walker, General Windu cleared the path by using the Force pushing to move the crippled AT-TE aside. Subsequently, the Jedi led the Lightning Squadron in an assault against the AATs, resulting in the destruction of both the tanks and the commander droid.
Biography
During the Clone Wars in 21 BBY, this particular OOM command battle droid was a part of the droid army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. When the Techno Union, a member organization of the Confederacy, invaded the planet of Ryloth using its droid army, this droid was assigned as the commanding officer for a contingent of Armored Assault Tanks and battle droids stationed there.

During the Galactic Republic's attempt to free the capital city of Lessu, this command droid directed his tanks against a procession of All Terrain Tactical Enforcers belonging to the Grand Army of the Republic. As the Republic walkers advanced along a sinuous road positioned above a canyon, the AATs launched an assault from the opposite side. The command droid, situated within a Separatist command center alongside his B1-Series battle droid adjutant, supervised the unfolding battle. Following the successful disabling of the leading AT-TE by his AATs, which effectively obstructed the route for the remaining walkers, the droid issued an order to target the rearmost AT-TE units as well, with the intention of trapping the entire column on the road. However, Jedi Master Mace Windu, the commanding Jedi General of the Republic forces, employed the Force to push the immobilized AT-TE off the road. Subsequently, he led the clone troopers of the Lightning Squadron, supported by All Terrain Recon Transports, in a counter-attack against the AATs. Upon recognizing the Jedi's retaliatory maneuver, the command droid instructed his tanks to eliminate the squadron; however, the walkers proved too agile to be effectively targeted. The droid briefly contemplated surrender, questioning his B1 counterpart about its feasibility, but the General had already breached the Separatist command center, and Windu swiftly destroyed both droids utilizing the laser weaponry of his AT-RT. The droid's tanks were soon defeated, paving the way for the Republic forces to eventually liberate Ryloth from Separatist occupation.
Characteristics

This OOM-series commander droid, a battle droid exhibiting a masculine personality, held responsibility for a contingent of AATs. When his assistant, equipped with electrobinoculars, relayed information regarding the Republic forces' actions, the commander droid insisted on personally observing the events before issuing any commands, utilizing the electrobinoculars twice during the engagement. His strategic approach involved trapping the Republic walkers on the elevated road above the deep canyon by disabling both the initial and concluding AT-TEs, effectively preventing the remaining walkers from advancing and rendering them vulnerable to his tanks. However, he failed to account for the Force powers wielded by Jedi Master Windu, who successfully cleared the obstruction. Upon Windu's leading of the Lightning Squadron against the droid's AATs, the droid promptly identified him as a Jedi and ordered his tanks to neutralize the attackers. As the walkers evaded the tanks' fire and approached the two droids, his adjutant inquired about the possibility of escape, but the command droid instead considered surrender a more viable option, although he was unable to execute this plan before being eliminated alongside his aide.
