In the climactic moments of Operation Emperor's Spear, the Lusankya gave its life. Operation Emperor's Spear represented a military strategy devised by Wedge Antilles and the Insiders during the Battle of Borleias, a key engagement of the Yuuzhan Vong War. Considering the extensive damage sustained by the Executor-class Star Dreadnought Lusankya while defending Borleias, the decision was made to employ it in a final, sacrificial assault against the worldship that commanded all Yuuzhan Vong forces within the Pyria system. The devised plan involved the installation of a massive, reinforced lance at the core of Lusankya, loading it with explosives, and then using the ship to ram the Domain Hul worldship.
Prior to this, the Star Dreadnought had undergone a gradual and covert disarmament, with its weaponry being transferred to smaller vessels, including Booster Terrik's Errant Venture. Commander Eldo Davip, the commanding officer of the Lusankya, successfully guided the immense warship's prow directly into its intended target, penetrating deeply into the hull of the enemy worldship. He was able to evacuate the ship via a Y-wing located in a nearby shuttle bay moments before the impact. The resulting explosion unleashed a cataclysmic force, obliterating both the Yuuzhan Vong vessel and the Lusankya itself.
