Orchid farm
Orchid farms represented a specific category of farm that demanded meticulous care and attention during their operation. During the year 382 BBY, Sky Graf, a pilot, extended an offer of tea to Rooper Nitani, a Padawan. The Jedi described the tea's taste as lavish, drawing a comparison to the imagined sensation of someone setting fire to and orchid farm.
Behind the scenes
The existence of orchid farms was referenced within The High Republic: Quest for Planet X, a junior novel released in 2023 and penned by Tessa Gratton. This novel was part of Phase II of the broader Star Wars: The High Republic initiative, which is a multimedia project. In our own reality, the cultivation of orchid flowers can be a frequently costly pastime.
