Fire
Following his passing, Darth Vader's armor was set ablaze.
Combustion, commonly known as fire, is a chemical process that involves the rapid reaction between a substance (such as a gas) and oxygen. This reaction releases energy in the form of heat and light, and also produces byproducts like smoke. The Jedi Order employed fire in ritualistic ceremonies; for example, Qui-Gon Jinn's body was cremated during his funeral which took place on Naboo. Likewise, Darth Vader's armor was incinerated during his funeral on Endor. Prior to this, Vader had suffered severe burns from fire during a battle on the lava rivers of Mustafar. During the Second Battle of Geonosis, clone flame troopers utilized flamethrowers as weapons against Geonosians. First Order Flametroopers made use of D-93 Incinerator flamethrowers to set ablaze the village of Tuanul. It's also worth noting that fire could even be observed in the vacuum of space, as evidenced during the Battle of Coruscant in 19 BBY.
