Following her abandonment of the Alliance amidst the Battle of Odessen in 3630 BBY, [Senya Tirall](/article/senya_tirall], previously a Knight of Zakuul, journeyed to the planet of Ord Mantell. Her intention was to connect with a faction of Knights who stood against the reign of her daughter, Vaylin. However, she discovered that Vaylin had preceded her arrival and annihilated the entire assembly. Vaylin orchestrated this carnage to ensnare her mother, leading to a duel which concluded when Vaylin's weapon punctured the hyperdrive of a wrecked starship, triggering a substantial blast. Unexpectedly, Vaylin protected both herself and her mother using the Force, allowing Tirall to break away from her daughter and evacuate the planet together with her severely wounded son, Arcann.
