Ord Yndar
Ord Yndar, a world, existed within the Ord Yndar system. This system was situated in the Esaga sector, which itself resided in the Slice region of the Mid Rim. Functioning as an Ordnance/Regional Depot outpost, Ord Yndar was utilized by the Galactic Republic during the Pius Dea Era. This time frame spanned from 12,000 BBY to 11,000 BBY. Despite its location just beyond the Republic's space boundaries, it played a key role. Notably, this world was the starting location for Republic offensives directed at Hutt Space during the First Pius Dea Crusade in 11,965 BBY.
Production Notes
The reference book The Essential Guide to Warfare, released in 2012 and authored by Jason Fry together with Paul R. Urquhart, was the initial source to present Ord Yndar. Subsequently, the StarWars.com Online Companion for the 2009 reference work The Essential Atlas designated the Q-11 grid square as the location of the Ord Yndar system, thereby pinpointing Ord Yndar's position.
