According to the Qel-Droma Epics, the village of Ossus City was a humble settlement situated in a serene valley on the Outer Rim Territories planet of Ossus. Its location was distant from the Ooroo Canyon, the purported site of the Great Jedi Library, and roughly fifty kilometers away from Knossa.
For the Jedi, it served as a sanctuary for recuperation, addressing both bodily injuries and mental trauma. A compact temple, staffed by a changing group of young Jedi healers, delivered essential medical care to those ailing or injured. Around the temple were small dwellings, each accommodating four individuals: a single healer alongside three patients. Further afield, a diverse collection of huts, cabins, and tents housed aged Jedi who were in search of a tranquil conclusion to their lives, meditating quietly on the Force. During their recovery, Jedi patients frequently engaged with senior Masters, seeking their insight and direction.
