Otak'or Meln

Meln, Otak'or, a Twi'lek physician of the male persuasion hailing from Balmorra, collaborated with Doctor Ortis to conceive the Barrager superweapon throughout the era known as the Cold War. Following the reconstituted Sith Empire's conquest of Balmorra, both Meln and Ortis were incarcerated within the confines of Gorinth Brig, leaving the Barrager project in an uncompleted state. In the year 3642 BBY, a citizen of the Republic secured their liberation from captivity, and they subsequently offered their assistance in ensuring the now-finished Barrager fell into the possession of the Republic.
