According to the Gungan species' mythology, the planet Naboo held a paradise called Otoh-D'in within a swampland. This paradise came into existence when Balam, the original Gungan warrior, transformed into a gud through the actions of Oma-Oma, their primary deity. Otoh-D'in was believed to be the final destination for the most courageous Gungan warriors, where they would undergo a transformation and then eternally occupy themselves with games of strategy. Should Ossorus, the guds' residence, face an assault from entities like Mekamok, the god of destruction, Balam would command the legions of immortal warriors in its defense.
The Gungan DataBank entry in the French version of the 2001 LucasArts Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds video game referenced Otoh-D'in.
