Mori was a proficient aviator, his last known vessel being a X-wing starfighter. He was clad in R.I.S. armor of a red and black color scheme.
As the Hidden Daggers escalated their assaults on freighters and even CorSec pilots within the Corellian system around 1 ABY, Sergeant Rhea of CorSec issued an order for a pilot to eliminate the pirate leadership. This pilot successfully downed numerous Hidden Daggers starfighters, prompting the pirates to dispatch their elite pilots to neutralize the CorSec threat. The initial wave of Hidden Daggers captains, consisting of Russ Grimblade, Xopw Laow, and Mori, were all defeated and perished. Awoz was the final Hidden Daggers leader to confront the CorSec pilot. His X-wing was destroyed during the aerial engagement, leading to his death.
Owpa Awoz makes an appearance in one of the duty assignments for CorSec pilots in Star Wars Galaxies, accessible through Sergeant Rhea in Coronet. Following the elimination of several pirate waves, one of the pirate commanders emerges and must be defeated by the player. Russ Grimblade appears first among these leaders, followed in succession by Xopw Laow, Mori, and finally, Owpa Awoz.
