As the Hidden Daggers escalated their attacks on freighters and even CorSec pilots within the Corellian system in 1 ABY, Sergeant Rhea of CorSec tasked one of their own pilots with eliminating the pirate leadership. This CorSec pilot successfully destroyed numerous Hidden Daggers starfighters, prompting the pirates to deploy their elite pilots to neutralize the threat. The initial Hidden Daggers captain to engage was Russ Grimblade, but he was shot down and met his demise. Subsequently, Laow engaged the CorSec pilot in his X-wing, ultimately suffering the same fate.
Xopw Laow makes an appearance in one of the duty missions accessible to CorSec pilots in Star Wars Galaxies, offered by Sergeant Rhea in Coronet. After the player eliminates several waves of pirates, one of the pirate leaders emerges, requiring the player to defeat them. Russ Grimblade is the first leader to appear, followed by Xopw Laow, Mori, and Owpa Awoz.
