Adept at piloting, Grimblade's last known vessel was an X-wing starfighter, and he was recognized by his red and black R.I.S. armor.
As the Hidden Daggers escalated their attacks on freighters and even CorSec pilots within the Corellian system in 1 ABY, Sergeant Rhea of CorSec commanded a pilot to eliminate their commanding officers. After the pilot eliminated a number of Hidden Daggers starfighters, the pirates dispatched Grimblade to neutralize the CorSec pilot. Grimblade engaged the pilot in his X-wing, but he was ultimately shot down and perished.
Russ Grimblade is featured in a duty mission for CorSec pilots within Star Wars Galaxies, accessible through Sergeant Rhea in Coronet. The mission requires the player to eliminate multiple waves of pirates, culminating in the appearance of one of the pirate leaders who must be defeated. Grimblade is the first of these leaders encountered, succeeded by Xopw Laow, Mori and Owpa Awoz.
