Parasite bomb

The parasite bomb represented a biological weapon of last resort, developed by the Chiss Ascendancy amidst the [Swarm War], a conflict between the Chiss and Killik.

This weapon consisted of a unique concoction of chemicals housing bio-engineered parasites, specifically designed to target and ultimately eradicate the Killik's internal biological systems. The effects were intentionally delayed, allowing the parasites to gradually dismantle the insectoid species' internal functions over a standard year. This delay was strategically advantageous to the Chiss, as the parasites would reproduce and the infected Killiks, unknowingly, would transmit the parasite to the wider Colony via the exchange of bodily fluids. The goal was complete infection of the Killik population, rendering them incapable of reproduction and leading to their eventual extinction.

These biological weapons were housed inside specialized warheads intended for use during the Battle of Tenupe. The Chiss fighters were to deploy them while feigning defeat, allowing the unsuspecting Killiks to become infected and continue their routines, unaware of the insidious bio-weapon's effects on their hives. However, the Jedi intervened, destroying the parasite bombs after Commander Baltke inadvertently disclosed critical information to his captive during an interrogation aboard a Chiss Star Destroyer, thus thwarting the Chiss plan.
