Aragh bore the title of Patriarch up to 0 ABY, having held it for a duration of 22 years. The head of the Supreme Council of the Highland Clans, which governed the world of Skye, was known as the Patriarch. This role would alternate between representatives of the Highland and Lowland Clans. Typically, the clan holding the position would retain it for a term of forty-two years, after which the title was mandated to be transferred to the opposing clan. Before Aragh, Klarymére served as Skye's Patriarch until his death in the Battle of Skye, at which point Aragh, who was one of his protectors, took over.
