Paul Martin Smith, whose profession is film editing, shares a co-editing credit for Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. In addition to his editing work, he had a brief appearance in the movie (together with colleagues Ben Burtt and Rick McCallum), portraying an individual positioned behind Queen Padmé Amidala during her conversation with Senator Palpatine.
