The Pelagia Duplex Command Assault Gunship, a military craft known by the grim moniker "Orphanmaker" and the more regional Tapani Murder Machine, served as a protector for the Tapani sector during the era of the Great Sith War. This vessel was specifically designed and equipped for utilization within the private fleets belonging to the Lords of the Expanse.

The design of this ship incorporated two distinct cockpits, an intentional feature to divide offensive responsibilities between co-captains, allocating duties to both port and starboard sides. Moreover, the inclusion of redundant piloting systems allowed either pilot to override the other's control of the vessel. The ship was constructed with a plethora of integrated weapon mounts and power conduits, facilitating easier installation of new weaponry and upgrades to existing systems when compared to similar-sized ships.
The creation of this class of gunship was motivated by the need to reinforce Tapani's defensive capabilities amidst the instability surrounding Exar Kun's violent conflict with the Galactic Republic. Following the conclusion of the Great Sith War, House Pelagia began the practice of selling these well-appointed gunships to external parties, a move that significantly augmented the family's wealth through design profits. A number of these vessels were divested just prior to the outbreak of the Mandalorian Wars and subsequently acquired by affluent individuals and bounty hunters. Impressed by the ship's performance, the unconventional Baron Karoll Cilarnus embarked on a project to develop a personalized version boasting double the armament. The outcome of this endeavor became the Moomo Williwaw, the personal transport of the Moomo Brothers.
